BlueJeans iOS App
BlueJeans Network is a cloud-based video conferencing leader that wanted an App redesign with a next generation look and user experience.
One of the main goals in the re-design thought process was how can this app look and feel better than all the other competitors out there. The key elements needed: Visually pleasing; Animations to support the experience; Overall, easy-to-use experience.
Role: Creative Director responsible for all the flows, specs from design to dev, animations, branding explorations, UX and Visual Design. Lead designer for iOS app, iPad, Apple Watch, and direction on Android.
Featured in the App Store in 2015 in top apps for iPhone 6s that support 3D touch.
Jetsetter is a mobile app concept designed to make traveling easier allowing people to order essential items right before their trips. Their items would be available when they reach their designated airports or even have them delivered directly to their hotel.
I worked with 2 other designers in a Design-a-thon sponsored by the eBay Local Shopping team in 2013. Collaborated with concept, user research, user flow, interaction and visual design.
Fame is an app that allows you to see all of your social networks in one feed. It's about helping you become more and more "Fame-ous" the more you use the app.
Responsible for Design Direction-UX/UI, Branding, Asset Deliverables, Animation Prototypes.

One challenge along the way was that not all use cases were fully flushed out prior to design implementation. Also responsible for making sure the designs covered all possible use cases that involved 3 different social networks (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram).
Sync-ups with developers on a daily basis to ensure there weren't any blockers and if so, finding solutions to work around limitations. Created animated prototypes in order to help developers have a better understanding of specific transitions.
Responsible for initial proof of concept design for client.
Filterr is an app that focuses on providing “the right news, at the right time”.
Users are only shown articles that are pertinent to their interests. Filterr tailors content to the user based on various factors, such as location, age, gender, likes, and reading history.

Qurate is a mobile app designed for users to create collections, get friends' advice, and shop for the things collected or buy them on eBay.
Collaborated with another designer with the mobile UI and UX flow as well as flushing out user scenarios. Tasks also included designing desktop version of the mobile app; research, interaction and visual design.
Diesel iPad app design and Flash prototype created for those who love to shop for the latest Diesel Clothing.

Opportunity. Improve the user experience by reorganizing item info based on their importance to users and grouping related details together
The new list view redesign will enable users to quickly see the most critical info and understand where the secondary details reside.
The Dark Knight DVD Packaging Collector's Edition
This collector’s edition DVD design was intended to be creepy, representing the Joker’s psychotic character. When the box is opened, it is programmed with a timer triggered to start counting down as soon as the box is opened and stop when the DVDs are removed. The goal of the project was to get in the head of the Joker and come up with tricks, just as he did in the movie.
I worked on the concept from beginning to end. Researched materials and had to make sure everything was printed, assembled and delivered all in a time frame of 2.5 weeks. I was also responsible for setting up and sending files to print as well as assembly. The box was custom-made from Plexi-Glass, had some assistance putting it together.
Materials used: Plexi-Glass, timer device, printed on laser-jet frosted vinyl. Designs were made in Photoshop.
EDGE Hair Care Branding
Edge Hair Care is a branding experiment for a professional hair care product line that sells exclusive hair products targeted for both men and women. For Edgy yet sleek attitude and lifestyle.
I worked on this concept from start to finish. Created the identity and carried across the look and feel to keep consistency of the brand. I was also responsible for creating mock-ups of the bottles, containers, and promotional products. I gathered existing containers and wrapped them with labels printed on laser-jet vinyl. The entire project was created in a time span of 4 weeks.
Super Mario Bros. Toy Packaging
This is a collector’s edition toy collection celebrating Super Mario Bros. The whole piece is based on pixels, the characters as well as the boxes the toys sit in.
I worked on the concept from beginning to end. Responsible for gathering materials and creating high fidelity mock ups. I created the artwork in Illustrator and had to set up print ready die lines for each box. After printing, I had to hand cut and assemble the boxes as well as the individual pixel characters. I also hand cut the clear container to hold the 4 boxes together and added vinyl stickers on top to keep the pixel theme consistent. I Spray painted each toy to give it a "special edition" feel. The entire project was created in a 3 week timeline.
Materials used: Metallic Paint, files printed on 120lb paper - laser-jet, thin foldable plexi-glass, vinyl.
The Dark Knight Typography Script Book
This movie script book was created using typography to match the characters in The Dark Knight. Each character used its own typeface to match their profile in the movie.
I was responsible for the concept and production of the book. Responsibilities included designing in Photoshop (manipulating type and special effects) and transferring files to InDesign for hi fidelity print-ready files; perfect binding the book and trimming for final delivery. This 120-page was created all in a 2.5 week timeline.
Justice League Paper Swatch Books
This swatchbook was created to promote and sell Justice League inspired paper. Each swatchbook represents a super hero and the paper reflects the super hero powers.
I was responsible from concept to production of the entire project. Each book was designed in Photoshop. Characters were manipulated and outlined to create a uniformed look throughout as well as adding a half-tone comic book effect on each design. Hi-fidelity, print-ready files with die-lines were then set up in InDesign. Final books were printed on 100lb paper on inkjet. The super hero logos on the front of each book were hand embossed to create a strong 3D look. The Justice League logo was hand-foiled. The entire project was created in a 3 week period.
FutureBrand Profile Book
This book showcases FutureBrand’s work, process and philosophy of their approach on design. The book was designed to match the profile of the brand and most importantly their way of thinking and approach.
I was responsible for the entire concept and production of the book. Each of the circles on the front were hand cut. Printed on 60lb paper and perfect-bound and trimmed for final delivery. The envelope was hand cut out of plexiglass and assembled to have the book fit perfectly inside. I created 2 identical mock-ups and assembly. Files were setup in InDesign for print ready. I had to make sure the transparent pages aligned exactly with the circles. The entire concept and final deliverables were created in 2 weeks.
VOLT Coffee + Energy Drink Packaging
Volt Energy Drink was created for the coffee and energy drink lovers. It is based on voltage flavors so the higher the voltage, the more energy the drink has. They are also designed to look like a battery pack.
I was responsible for entire concept and final deliverables of the project. I started off with brand identity and carried it across to the final product. The graphics were created in Photoshop. Die-lines were created in order for the 3 cans to fit perfectly. The container was printed on ink-jet photo paper. The cans were wrapped with die-cut vinyl as well as chrome metallic vinyl.
Human Trafficking Awareness Poster
Place Human Trafficking on the Fortune 500 list and it would beat all companies in yearly revenue. The poster shows 500 circles of comparisons based on statistical information showing each company's yearly revenue. Human trafficking surpasses all of the companies as well as the poster size itself.
